Constructing a Super Hero
Every great super hero can be called that for a reason - they strive to, or are provided with extraordinary talents, skills, and abilities. At Qualified Associates (QA), we aren't just looking for skilled individuals to join our team. We're looking for super heroes that can compliment the drive, purpose, and fearless approach that shapes our philosophy. We want individuals whose "powers" are up to scratch! Here are some of the characteristics of what we look for in our future team members.
X-Ray Vision
An "eye for detail" is crucial in the recruiting industry. Specifically, the role of the recruiter is to identify the very best talent who can make an immediate impact to a company's success. It requires the ability to "x-ray" the interview, references, and assessments of a candidate and find the perfect fit for their abilities. It also requires a strong business maturity that allows for us to identify fantastic companies that will truly benefit from amazing talent.
Taking A Stand
One of the single most important "powers" that a super hero possesses is their voice - and their ability to instill hope and confidence to all. A QA Super Hero is fearless and speaks in an honest, open, and direct way. We are more than recruiters - we are business consultants whose purpose is to make a difference for our clients and our companies. Ours is an environment where the only limits placed on us are our own. We have the autonomy to mold our own approach, direction, and success. Ideas will always have a voice.
The Super Suit (w/utility belt)
The ability to pick up new skills, tools, and "gadgets" to rise above the rest. At QA, we have a commitment to be on the cutting edge of technology, and to master the tools that make us more effective. So in addition to looking for a vast knowledge of the tools that we use, we are looking for the person that can pick up a new gadget immediately, and maybe even make some suggestions for new gadgets to keep us at the top of our game.
The Cape
Each of us has unique strengths that enhance the value we can provide to an organization. The ability to be accurate, fast, detailed, a team player, organized, and genuine are essential skills. But at QA, we strive for and expect more. We look for the truly fearless. Those that are daring enough to take a risk, intrepid enough to do the unexpected, or courageous enough to work outside of their comfort zone. We expect all QA Super Heroes to test themselves - would we rather have our feet firmly on the ground, or soaring through the air? Many are skilled. Few are fearless!
The Alter Ego
With any good super hero, the work put into the "trade" is paid back with a healthy, rewarding work environment. But we are also committed to our super hero alter egos. We balance work and life in all things. We work very hard, putting all of our effort into each day—but we also leave work at work, enjoy our life away from Qualified, and return refreshed and invigorated about the next day’s goals.

Most of all, as certified "Qualified Heroes", we love what we do. The rush of placing a candidate in their dream job, helping a client improve their bottom line, or watching a fellow co-worker succeed is unmatched, and keeps us coming back for more each and every day.
