Rookie skydivers have many opportunities to "back out" of their objective.  They aren't fearless because they agree to skydive, take classes, put on the equipment, or board the plane.  Skydivers become fearless when they step off of the plane and into the sky.  Recruiting parallels skydiving in so many incredible ways (albeit with two feet firmly on the ground!)  And just like skydiving, being fearless in recruiting means that you never glance back at the plane you just jumped from - you only look straight ahead into the exhilarating unknown, with unfailing determination to succeed.
